The Adventure Begins!!!!!!!

After signing into my World of Warcraft account and picking a realm to play on, i found myself at the screen to create my very first character, otherwise known as a toon. There was a wide array of different races, classes and character features that i could choose from and each with its own description, which was extremely helpful in picking my ideal character. I first noticed that there were two different sides that seemed to be pitted against each other. The first was called the Alliance which consisted of five different classes: Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome, and Draenei. The second grouping, also consisting of five other races, was the Horde, which included Orc, Undead, Tauren, Troll, and Blood Elf. My decision was clearly not an easy one and after much consideration i decided to pledge myself to the Alliance and became a Night Elf. Within each race there are several different classes i could choose from. your class determines the type of fighting you will most likely engage in within the World of Warcraft. For the Night Elf there were six choices: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Death Knight or Druid. Once again, not such an easy decision to make but i ended up with the stealthy, quick and deadly Rogue. Following that was toon characteristics like hair style and color and skin color as well as picking a name. Once i passed those initial stages i was ready to enter the World of Warcraft and start my gameplay with the millions of other players online. When i enter the game for the first time, a video clip appears with a moving bird's eye view of the first couple zones in which i would begin my journey as a Night Elf Rogue. The video clip also gave a brief but fairly descriptive background of what seemed to be the History and purpose of the Night Elf race here in this world. while watching the video you immediately notice the great care and the time that was put into creating the majestic colors and details of the landscape. If you look at the picture i posted of the Character i created you can get a very small glimpse of the amazing graphic design and scenery imbedded in World of Warcraft. So far i am very happy with my game choice. We will see what new adventures are waiting for me in the future.
